1. Why the Philippines and why Philippine Gold?  Is what is now happening an Act of God?

Indeed, it is!

1. The Preamble

The Preamble to the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines states the following. “We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to build a just and humane society and establish a government that shall embody our ideals and aspirations, promote the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony, and secure to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of independence and democracy under the rule of law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality and peace, do ordain and promulgate this Constitution.”

The very foundation of the Philippine Constitution rests on an appeal to God to “conserve and develop” the nation’s patrimony—an inheritance that includes the gold entrusted to the people since time immemorial, stored upon their ancestral lands.

2. Nothing Hidden

Given this, it is no surprise that all matters concerning the misuse and abuse of the Philippines’ gold are now being brought into the light, just as foretold in Luke 12:2-3:
“There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the rooftops.”
