Associate Member

In addition to the Country Members, any of the following associate members that desire to have a license to issue, use, distribute, market, promote, empower, or support the launch of Gold Units either as a principal, contractual counterparty, franchisee, associate, partner, agent, or representative, whether it is in the context of a public or private initiative, shall include the following:

(a) Local Governmental authorities, including states, counties, cities, towns, municipalities, or other subdivisions, that desire to have their own brand of Gold Units that have either legal tender in the region concerned or can circulate as a local medium of exchange within a predefined geographical region, market or that desire to print and distribute gold certificates locally that are backed by Gold Units; and

(b) Global payment transaction processing, clearing and settlement platforms and organizations; fintech platforms; merchants; and

(c) Commercial banks, investment banks, mutual banks, savings and loan institutions, community banks, credit unions and broker/dealers; and

(d) Card issuing institutions, private-label credit cards (e.g., retail chains, supermarkets, and airlines), stable gold coin brands, distributors, agents, resellers, payment service providers, remittance services, and money changers; and

(e) Fintech companies, software firms, technology providers, financial and non-financial marketplaces, and platforms; telecom companies; and

(f) Church communities, Community groups or organizations, whether represented directly or through a designated group of trustees; and

(g) Corporate entities, including, but not limited to retailers, employers, trusts, foundations, labor unions, consulting firms, law firms, audit and accounting firms, foundations, non-governmental organizations, and non-profit entities; and

(h) Sovereign Individuals, entrepreneurs, wealth and investment managers, and advisors, either in their own individual capacity or through a wholly-owned corporate or trust structure, desire to serve as promotional agents and service providers who receive a commission for services provided.
