Why are Gold Units preferable to the existing FIAT currency of a country?

Gold Units:

Firstly, are not subject to inflation;

Secondly, are fully backed by physical allocated gold;

Thirdly, have Intrinsic Value by being backed by physical allocated gold;

Fourthly, are a stable form of money with fixed exchange rates between countries for the next fifty (50) years;

Fifthly, can be used in a decentralized manner; and,

Sixthly, have zero costs for the processing of merchant and foreign exchange transactions.

WHEREAS, FIAT currency is created out of thin air and once confidence is lost or the value erodes due to inflation, the currency loses value and ultimately becomes worthless.
