Will I be taxed on Gold Units I receive as a gift?

No.

Gold Units are NOT taxable as they belong to God and don’t change in value due to their INTRINSIC VALUE.

In addition, under the Articles of Agreement, Article XXI Section 21.01 (k) records that:-

All distributions of Gold Units by the Fund or the Founding Member to any beneficiary, for anything other than goods and services shall be free of any tax.

However, an Account Holder will be taxed on his normal revenue/profit as defined under the relevant tax legislation.
